LAU HOUSE

Prior to the project, there was a stall and a bathroom built by the client and a builder from the area. Our role was to transform that into an architecture project; a small permanent residence in Cuchilla Alta

An introverted house is projected with controlled relationships where functionality, security and intimacy were premises, added to a budget and minimal areas. The program is organized in 3 public-private bands (patio, social area, intimate area). Through openwork walls and sliding brick panels, materials and textures are explored that generate various relationships between the house and the environment.
