New Construction - Collective Housing
The project has 32 apartments, 16 of which are located on a 9m basement contained between dividing walls, maintaining the boundary building line and the neighborhood scale. It is then reduced to a small 3-level tower with opening towards side, front and back retreats.
The proposal is based on a clear and decisive implementation, incorporating as many apartments as possible and exploring regulatory limits. At the same time, a dynamic and heterogeneous skin is proposed that can be articulated by each user through a system of mobile parasols that will provide the project with material unity, movement and permeability. Each unit will have “Engawa” spaces, for transition and interior-exterior projection materialized with terraces and visual filters.
